For King and Country Kansas City Concert reviews
Card was disappointing
Silva was 'banned' from fighting Jackson, and the Lightweight championship fight was postponed. The main event pitted a veteran (Rampage) with someone who was clearly in his league. The energy of the crowd was lower than any of the other For King and Country events I have been to, and most of the other fights were a little lackluster.
Especially compared to last year's events (Rampage vs Rashad and Fan Expo), going to more fights at $400/ticket will not be as automatic as in the past. My sons both commented on the 'relative lack of excitement' compared to the other fights we have gone to. This made me feel like the For King and Country was just going through the motions.
Still love MMA, just going to be more selective.
